ONE: Whatever the circumstances, do not hold onto the negatives in your life. Hold onto the positive aspects of your life. Dwell on them and feel grateful about what you have. That in turn, will make you happy about your present circumstances despite whatever you are going through.
A lot of people nowadays rely on external circumstances to be or feel happy. How often do you hear people around you say ‘I am not happy with this’, ‘I am depressed because of that’, ‘he/she doesn’t make me happy’ etc.? Yet they go on and do nothing to change whatever makes them feel that way.
