If you can overcome the death of a loved one, even more so life trials and tribulations. Most of us have gone through the traumatic, devastating and most horrific experience of having to bid farewell to a loved one. Usually we do not like talking about death because it is a saddening topic that takes us back to a painful period of our life and that reminds us of unhealed wounds. Unhealed wounds that will probably never be healed as we learn to bear the pain but never completely heal. While discussing with my husband, I realized something so true and yet so minimized : ” If you can overcome the death of a loved one you can certainly face life trials and tribulations”.
If even the loss of a loved one can’t stop us from moving on, what challenge can problems at work or obstacles in our daily life pose to us? We have the power to bounce back from any type of situation.” Romeo Ella
Think about it, some of us have lost a child, a dear sister, a dear mother, someone we could not imagine living without. And yet, where are we now? We are still living, still moving forward, still trying to make the most of our life, still trying to put the pieces together, still trying to make sense of the loss and finding ways to keep on living. That to me is actually extraordinary and it proves that we have been endowed with extraordinary capacities that can either make us or break us.
If you can overcome the death of a loved one you can certainly face the office politics at work, you can face the challenges of unemployment, you can resolve any personal issues, you can fix your relationships, you can break free from the bondage of destructive habits, you actually have the opportunity to chase your dream and get from where you are to where you want to be.
If you can overcome the death of a loved one even more so the daily mountains we climb every day at work, at university, at home, in the street, in our daily encounters, etc.
I strongly believe that losing a loved one is one of the most painful experiences, if not, the hardest trial that we may be confronted with. Hence, when we manage to overcome it and allow ourself to pursue our journey amongst the living, we are able to achieve a lot in life and there is simply nothing, absolutely nothing we cannot do.
We bear the pain of having lost our loved one and yet keep on moving forward. That is a powerful thing which shows the power within us. We have been endowed with powerful gifts and through our faith, we can indeed face anything.
I hope this inspirational article about the power within us will help you realize the potential that is lying dormant in you. That thought made a huge difference for me.
Have a super week!
