This is an Inspirational Article on How to Make Work a Means rather than an End. We live in a very competitive society where people are being judged on appearances, material gain, material achievements and so on. Work has become an enslaver so much so that families get destroyed, many go through a burnout experience, some get depressed, others get frustrated, others lose themselves in the process… The thing is work should be a means to an end, not the end. The question is, do we know what is the end we would like to achieve? Can we clearly picture it? It is not just a matter of being rich. It goes deeper than that, the end should be to have a balanced, fulfilling, happy, peaceful life. This Inspirational Article on How to Make Work a Means rather than an End seeks to help us consciously shift all the negative impact work can have on each and everyone of us, to attract a life of favor.
What an Inspiring 16th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture! What a memorable day and way to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s centenary birthday. Thousands of people from every corner of the world gathered to attend this very special event. The ambiance was mesmerizing. The speakers were incredible. The crowd was on fire. While sitting there, warmed up by a very benevolent sun shining on us, I thanked God from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to listen to President Cyril Ramaphosa, Mama Graça Machel, Former American President Barack Obama, Mr Patrice Motsepe, among others, LIVE. As a self-made entrepreneur, I felt privileged to be a part of such an incredible chapter of South Africa’s book. Folks, it was an Inspiring 16th Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture. It was insightful for us visionaries and leaders, which is the reason why I felt impelled to share the inspiration to be drawn from this special lecture.

Today is not just any day. It is Africa Day. What is Africa Day to you? To me, Africa Day is a day to reflect on the evolution of our dear continent. It is a day to reflect on our contribution to Africa. It is a day to reflect on our past, present and future actions. It is a day to reflect on the discourse we want to hear, read, write on, perpetuate and see emerge. It is a day to stop procrastinating, stop planning and start making action towards paving a better way of live for our peoples, the men, women and children of our continent. It is a day we come together to put forward a positive vision for African men & women. A vision where Africans will be able to afford great education, where unemployment rates will drop thanks to the abundance of outstanding African entrepreneurs in the continent, where women and children will have access not only to basic education but to all the skills that will give them a fair pursuit of jobs, health, wealth and anything else they will dream of. On this special day, I interviewed a dear friend of mine, fellow Greatness Engineer and incredible advocate of education for all, Ms Ijeoma n. Obiajunwa-Ajiamah, CEO of Markengee group. She is doing a tremendous job in Nigeria. Let’s Touch Lives on Africa Day. Just like Ijeoma, let’s reflect on our role as African children, as African leaders.
The Best Time in Your Life Is Now. Yesterday is gone and beyond reach, today is at your doorstep, tomorrow is yet to come. Today, you have the possibility, the power, the authority and the duty to take action towards realizing your objectives, to take decisions that will change the course of your life, to live each day with love and passion. The problem is too many people live in the past, sometimes without even noticing it and as a consequence, fail to see the many opportunities that lie in front of them. I know what I am talking about because I was one of them. For many years I lived in the past. For too long I carried the weight of the hurt, shame and struggle on my present and fortunately I realized it on time to stop, redefine my life and enjoy my present. The Best Time In Your Life Is Now.
This week I learned a valuable lesson. It is crucial to Know Your Worth. Whatever circumstances you may find yourself into, stand your ground. Easier said than done, right ? I must say, it is not something easy to do. It requires guts and much more, but when you do not stand your ground, you have much more to lose. This week I turned down a considerable business offer. I also closed a chapter in my journey in entrepreneurship, as I know for a fact that I will never work with that client again. I left the corporate world to become an entrepreneur because of my aspirations, principles and my thirst for more. This position gives me the freedom to make important decisions such as refusing terms of contracts that go against my work ethics, my value as a professional service provider and my philosophy of life. Know Your Worth. Stand your ground. There is a better business deal, a better client somewhere waiting for you.
You are Destined For Greatness. It sounds so cliché and yet it is true. There is an array of elements that show that there is much more to You than meets the eye. Our mindset, our capacity to bring the invisible into the visible, our faith, our love, our passion, our individual skills, our unicity, our purpose, etc. So much to talk about. Once you start harnessing your greatness, there is simply no limit to what you can achieve in life. Here are 6 reasons why I believe that you are Destined For Greatness :
