It is often said that words are powerful. I do believe in their power. Words can either create, heal or break. “In the beginning was the Word”. But I also believe in the power of visualization. Visualization is the mental images that we make of something. As Harvey Mackay eloquently said, ” […] visualization is one of the most powerful means of achieving personal goals”. Have you visualized your 2016? This inspirational message about visualization aims to facilitate your way to an effective visualization process. Here are five steps that I follow:
One: decide on what you want to achieve this year in every aspect of your life. It is never too late to do this. Whatever you decide, believe that you have the ability and the skills to see it through. Believe it possible.
Two : have a plan for each resolution. For instance if you want to lose weight, get assistance and find a diet plan as well as an exercise plan that works for you. Think of ways to achieve your goals. At the beginning it might not be clear enough but as you work towards achieving these resolutions, your path will become clearer.
Three: write them down. This will be your road map for the year. There will be ups and downs. There will be times when you get lost as life is unpredictable but whatever happens, have this roadmap with you and you will find your way back. Always keep the end results in mind. All roads lead to Rome. It might take you longer but as long as you are determined, motivated and disciplined, you will get there.
Four: as you start your day, ask the Lord to give you the strength, determination and motivation to move forward in the realization of your goals. Ask and it shall be given to you. Knock and a door shall open. Offer your goals to the Lord and as you do it, thank Him for granting them to you.
Five: Visualize your 2016 by having clear mental pictures of every single goal that you have for 2016. Have a positive strong feeling and faith about your goals. Believe that the moment you have asked, they have been granted to you and then follow the path to reach them. Find time every single day to do your visualization. It must become part of your daily routine. The more you visualize these goals, the more motivated you will be. You will end up attracting them in your life. Every day the visualization will become clearer and clearer. This will help you activate your faith. Remember, consistency is key.
Decide. Plan. Jot it down. Pray. Visualize.
Never put yourself down. Every time you feel down and have negative thoughts about yourself, switch to positive affirmations and tell yourself : ” I can do this. I am stronger than I think and I can do anything I put my mind to.”
Have a great one!
